Lake Tekapo
Lake Tekapo is the second-largest of three roughly parallel lakes running north–south along the northern edge of the Mackenzie Basin in the South Island of New Zealand (the others are Lake Pukaki and Lake Ohau). It covers an area of 83 square kilometres, and is at an altitude of 700 metres (2,300 ft) above sea level.

Church of Good Shepherd @ Lake Tekapo
The Church of Good Shepherd, in 1935, is the first church built in the Mackenzie Basin. It’s one of the most photographed in New Zealand, and features an altar window that frames stunning views of the lake and mountains. We didn’t get to go into the church as it closes at 4pm everyday.

Lake Pukaki
Took a rest at Lake Pukaki when we are on our way to Mount Cook.

Hike up to Kea Point
So happy that we brave the wind and made it up~!!!
View at Kea Point @ 3054ft
Another view with look out point in sight.
Some picture taken while we are on our way to Tasman Glacier Lake Walk.
Tasman Valley
A little resting hut at the starting point of the walk.
We are facing gale of about 130km/h wind on our way up. Crazy weather but it was fun.
Taken from mid way. If you look closer, you should be able to see the road that runs along the foot of the mountains. That’s where we came from.
