We were suppose to visit the “3 sisters” before we head for Port Stephen.. But.. but… but.. it rained in the morning and it was freaking misty.. And all we could see was droplets of rain on our windscreen and fogs around us… Feeling pathetic and sad (for me cause I didn’t get to see the 3 sisters), we headed down to Port Stephen through Hunter Valley.
Hunter Valley was… .. err.. BORING~ …. Seriously.. they got nothing much there.. except nice pizzas from Eagles Boys~!! Anyone who are travelling there should try.. We even printed discount coupons for the pizza.. Hahaha… well prepared.
The Hunter Valley Chocolate Company
Nothing interesting inside. I feel the Margaret River Chocolate Factory in perth is so much better. Miss that place.
So after a few hours.. we reached Port Stephen -
We reach quite late and didn’t manage to do much that day. Just checked in and relax. The room was cosy, has a fridge and 6 beds. Nothing else. Not even a lock to lock up the room. YES, a sliding door without lock.
The owner told us that so far nothing was stolen before and told us not to worry.. haha.. Its a little hard for us to accept considering where we come from.. But.. everything went fine.. =)
A few shots taken on the first night.. in the room
Kok Ngee enjoying the wine we bought.
Guo Dong reading about some young gals fighting in school..
One Mile Beach
Woke up early in the morning and headed to one mile beach for sunrise. Greeted by many of the locals on the way there.. Nice place with lots of nice people there. One locals saw us with our cameras and told us that there are some wild koalas around .. although we cant find any despite our effort.. It was a nice feeling to have such nice people around. If only Singaporeans are like this…
A local taking a stroll in the morning
Paw prints.. reminded me of my dog.. I hope I can bring here to such place one day..
The sun is hidden behind the clouds.. anyway.. the sea breeze was nice.
Jump Shot~!
Fast reflexes.. Jumping before everyone else.
One more try.. this time it was better
With a change of position.. haha.. It was so fun taking jump shots. yeah.. 25 years old kids jumping.. oh well.. who cares.
So after some jumping.. we went back to our photo taking session..
Lend my tripod to Guodong.. so I wandered off with my camera.
The rays are peeping out.. Nice..
I love the reflection on the receding water
Seems like the seagull can see its reflection too
I wondered off a little too far.. haha.. they were shouting for me to go back to where they are for a group shot.
